PC maker Lenovo posts 22% revenue jump, tops estimates
BEIJING (Reuters) – Lenovo Group Ltd (HK:0992) posted a 22% rise in revenue in its fiscal second quarter from a year earlier, as the global personal computer industry showed signs of recovery.
The Chinese technology company reported revenue of $17.85 billion for the quarter ended September 30, exceeding analysts’ expectations according to LSEG data of $15.997 billion.
Net profit reached $359 million, compared with analysts’ estimates of $331.69 million.
