Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.19%
Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate, Insurance and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.19%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which rose 3.49% or 3,170.00 points to trade at 94,020.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) added 3.30% or 94.00 points to end at 2,944.00 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) was up 2.95% or 40.00 points to 1,395.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which fell 1.91% or 1,850.00 points to trade at 94,970.00 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) declined 0.88% or 16.00 points to end at 1,792.00 and Newmed Energy LP (TASE:NWMDp) was down 0.43% or 5.00 points to 1,150.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 313 to 151 and 74 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.18% or 0.84 to $70.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.54% or 0.40 to hit $74.09 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 1.96 to trade at $2,673.84 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.30% to 3.59, while EUR/ILS fell 0.32% to 3.77.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 106.57.
