Indonesia stocks lower at close of trade; IDX Composite Index down 0.01%

Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Agriculture, Basic Industry and Property sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index fell 0.01%.

The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Victoria Care Indonesia Tbk Pt (JK:VICI), which rose 525.00% or 525.00 points to trade at 625.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Jaya Sukses Makmur Sentosa Tbk PT (JK:RISE) added 507.36% or 827.00 points to end at 990.00 and Pelita Samudera Shipping Tbk PT (JK:PSSI) was up 220.00% or 297.00 points to 432.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bank Artha Graha Internasional (JK:INPC), which fell 99.28% or 9,680.00 points to trade at 70.00 at the close. Asuransi Harta Aman Pratama Tbk PT (JK:AHAP) declined 97.22% or 4,132.00 points to end at 118.00 and Omni Inovasi Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:TELE) was down 96.77% or 300.00 points to 10.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 399 to 261 and 178 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.69% or 1.19 to $71.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.50% or 1.10 to hit $74.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.45 to trade at $2,652.95 a troy ounce.

USD/IDR was up 0.01% to 15,180.70, while AUD/IDR fell 0.06% to 10,373.42.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 100.52.
