Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 1.27%
Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 1.27%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p), which rose 2.29% or 300.00 points to trade at 13,400.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p) added 2.04% or 380.00 points to end at 18,980.00 and Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC) was up 1.53% or 560.00 points to 37,060.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS), which fell 2.89% or 1,000.00 points to trade at 33,600.00 at the close. Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) declined 1.90% or 200.00 points to end at 10,300.00 and Celsia SA (BVC:CEL) was down 1.82% or 70.00 points to 3,780.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.56% or 1.40 to $249.50 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.29% or 94.00 to hit $7,361.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.65% or 18.00 to trade at $2,799.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.02% to 4,414.28, while BRL/COP rose 0.36% to 765.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 104.00.
