Marc-Andre Fleury stops every shot in final Penguins outing: Highlights

Goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury went full circle and came out on top.
Fleury, who helped the Pittsburgh Penguins win three Stanley Cup titles before he went to the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2017 expansion draft, got one last time in a Penguins uniform on Saturday, Sept. 27.
The retired goalie signed a professional tryout contract for that opportunity. Playing in the third period, he stopped all eight Columbus Blue Jackets shots he faced in the preseason game.
It was vintage Fleury: a poke check, thanking the goal post, tough saves, crisp passes.
Fans chanted his name, ‘One more year’ and ‘Thank you, Fleury’ to the goalie who was drafted No. 1 overall by the Penguins in 2003.
He was named first star of the game. Penguins captain Sidney Crosby, a superstar on those three championships, scored a goal in the 4-1 win and was named second star.
Fleury, 40, said in an in-game interview that Saturday’s experience gave him ‘goosebumps.’ He now leaves the game after recording the second-most wins – 575 with the Penguins, Golden Knights, Blachkawks and Wild – in NHL history.
He’ll be eligible for election to the Hall of Fame in three years.
Here are highlights from Fleury’s final appearance on Saturday:
