Sweden stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 down 0.85%

Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.85% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which rose 1.26% or 1.80 points to trade at 140.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) added 1.18% or 11.80 points to end at 1,009.00 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was up 1.07% or 0.80 points to 77.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which fell 4.60% or 2.40 points to trade at 50.10 at the close. Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) declined 3.65% or 0.15 points to end at 4.08 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) was down 3.45% or 6.50 points to 180.50.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 473 to 284 and 90 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.66% or 1.14 to $67.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.42% or 1.03 to hit $71.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 5.60 to trade at $2,567.30 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was up 0.09% to 11.58, while USD/SEK fell 0.13% to 10.97.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 106.53.
