Timeless Elegance: A Modern Take on Neoclassical Interior Design

Neoclassical interior design blends classical architecture with modern sensibilities—no wonder why it has long been admired! It is rooted in the classical styles of Greece and Rome. In the living room, we see a more refined and intentional minimalism. With interesting moldings, those walls really focus on vertical and horizontal lines—clearly evident of an Ancient Greek and Roman architecture revival. The color palette is an affair of neutrals, as typical of a neoclassical space. We see plenty of textures (leather, boucle, and more) adding visual interest—and making the ambiance warming.

A narrow wall partitions the dining and living area. We love the bird carvings, subtly adding a touch of Mother Nature. The chairs surrounding the minimalist table make a statement with both their color and build. Read: the beautiful orange color and pedestal shape. This means they provide functionality as well as style. Finally, the sleek rod chandelier illuminates the space while doubling as a decorative piece.

The kitchen in this interior is as sophisticated as it gets. It features beige cabinetry (the fact that it’s hardware-less makes it all the more sleek). The marble backsplash factors in opulence—and the slightly rust palette ties it with the dining area. A special mention for the island; it is compact in size, yet serves dual purpose. We mean, partitioning the kitchen and dining while also providing a seating spot.

Speaking of seating, the gold bar stools single-handedly add luxury to the space. Finally, the asymmetrical pendant light adds a sense of movement—while illuminating the space, of course.
